Welcome to Catch Up
Across the UK, there are more than a million children and adults who find reading and/or numeracy difficult. Catch Up, a not-for-profit charity, aims to help as many of them as possible.

Catch Up Literacy is our intervention for struggling readers. It is currently being used in more than 4000 schools across the UK and has been implemented in clusters of schools by more than 70 Local Authorities across England and Wales. It has been developed from University of Oxford research, has been successfully piloted in 72 schools (in 12 local authorities across England and Wales), and has been recognised as a Wave 3 intervention for learners who struggle with numeracy. 		NEWS Conferences. In November, 2009, Catch Up hosted a series of conferences to review effective literacy interventions and effective mathematics interventions: What works for KS3 pupils with literacy difficulties? and What works for KS1/KS2 pupils with mathematical difficulties?
